PTA – Friends of Sacred Heart
What is Friends of Sacred Heart?
We are a group of parents who all give our time on a voluntary basis to organise and run fundraising (and hopefully fun!) activities for those in our school community. A number of parents are currently involved and have been allocated roles such as Chairperson, secretary, treasurer etc. We are currently looking for class representatives for each class in school to ensure we are actively supporting all our children.
Our aim is to use the funds we raise to provide ‘extras’ for the school. On an annual basis, we provide the children’s Christmas presents, Easter eggs, and contribute to the Year 6 children’s leavers ball. We reduce the price of some school trips and through our toast sale on Fridays have been able to fund several events. In addition, the school gives us a ‘wish list’ of items they feel would be of benefit.
We are welcome to all those who are interested in supporting the school. If you would like to be involved please let us know.
